Former sales rep, sales manager, VP of sales, competitive sales strategist, consultant, and sales trainer. After a career as a sales consultant, trainer, and author, I was CEO of ES Research which I founded in 2005. ESR published independent evaluations and comparisons of sales training companies and their programs and services. (Think Consumer Reports, JD Powers, or Gartner.) I write the regular sales training column for Sales and Marketing Management magazine. I’ve worked in 26 countries with companies from the Fortune 10 to start-ups. As a result of my experience and approach, I’ve enabled my clients to win literally more than two billion dollars in incremental sales against what they perceived to be unbeatable odds. In addition to my blog (http://DaveStein.biz) I write the regular sales training column for Sales and Marketing Management magazine. I sit on their advisory board as well. I also wrote How Winners Sell (First Edition, 2002 and Second Edition 2004).
